If you are contemplating hosting any kind of event or gathering in Sanderling, please be aware of the following restrictions:
- Parking is not allowed along or on Sanderling streets or mowed areas. All vehicles should be parked in driveways. This rule applies to all types of vehicles.
- Exterior lights must be turned off by 11:00 p.m. Temporary outdoor lighting of any kind is prohibited.
- Tents or other temporary structures may not be constructed or placed on lot or deck.
- No temporary or permanent flooring of any kind is permitted on lot.
- Banquet or similar table and chairs are prohibited on lot.
- Temporary or permanent sound systems, microphones, amplifiers, speakers and similar sound and sound enhancement devices or systems are prohibited.
- Temporary or permanent catering equipment, devices, serving stations and containers are prohibited.
Please Note: Obtaining a Town of Duck permit to construct or place a tent on property or to engage in any of the other above activities does not override Sanderling community restrictions.
Please be mindful at all times when you are entertaining, especially outside on decks or other outdoor areas, that neighbors are in close proximity. Noise carries, especially at night. Exterior lights reflect into other people’s homes. Please be courteous and thoughtful to your neighbors.
